Thursday February 22nd
Elements of Successful Proposal Writing From Start to Finish
.  Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of crafting a fundable grant proposal.  Instructor, Carmen Bogan, MBA, The Bogan Group, will also cover such topics as the importance of program design and needs assessments to fundability, understanding the funder research process, bid/no bid analyses, and responding to the requests for proposals.  This training is recommended for individuals new to the process and those who would like to review basic principles. 
Thursday March 22nd
Bigger Grants - More Money - Advanced Fund Development Approaches that Yield Results! 
Participants will have the opportunity to expand their fund development skills.  The training will review basic proposal writing, how to craft a fund development plan, strategizing for multi-year funding, matching funds, federal, state and local funding sources and processes and understanding the basics of funding campaigns.  Recommended for individuals familiar with introductory proposal writing.

Strategic Planning in Real Time.
  Learn the specifics of internal strategic planning in real time with instructors Arnold and Karen Perkins. The Perkins team, known across the country for their creative and impactful strategic planning approach, will instruct participants on how to begin the strategic planning process in-house with the organization’s own leadership team.

Key Principles of Nonprofit Law.
  Nationally known non-profit attorney, William Taylor, Esq., Taylor & Goins, LLP, will provide an overview of key legal principles and every nonprofit leader must know and observe now for the organization’s long-term stability.  He will provide insight into understanding the types of nonprofit corporations, government regulations, reporting, protecting exemption, and more. Recommended for all nonprofit managers, and board members.

Introduction to Program Design, Management and Evaluation.
In this interactive workshop, participants will learn the essential program planning and evaluation methods to help ensure the highest community impact.  Participants will work in small groups to apply planning strategies they’ve learned in the workshop to create a program for a defined population and community.

– Faith-based Organization Operations.
– Participants will learn how to manage operations specific to faith-based organizations including volunteer recruitment and management, creating and implementing policies and procedures, establishing and managing program funds, building internal culture and other functions necessary to stabilize and grow the organization.

Making Social Media Work for You.  Participants of this session learn how to build social media platforms into their operational planning.  Instructors will guide participants in determining exactly what type of social media they need and how to utilize it for marketing, fundraising, community outreach, program design, collaborating, education 
​Thursday September 20th
Strategic Planning - Special Session: This special session will help leaders who have deviated from their original strategic plan and are finding it difficult to get back on track.  Participants will be able to ask questions of experienced consultants who will provide constructive advice on how to re-examine their tactical path and maintain programming momentum.
